Biography

J

effrey is a ceramic artist and painter whose work has won several prestigious awards, and is in several important collections. He teaches ceramics classes for the Culver City Recreation Department.

He studied ceramics at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Florida with internationally- recognized ceramic artists and department chairs, Harvey Sadow, and Debbie Weinstein.; and with Alicia Deyá at Palm Beach Community College. He studied painting with Dennis Aufiery at the Armory Art Center. At Palm Beach Community College, he studied painting with James Burges, and drawing. While in West Palm Beach, he also pursued sculpture projects at the Montoya Sculpture Studios.

Currently, in ceramics, Jeffrey is focusing on artistic works; a functional design collection, including his original Olive Oil Decanter; and commissions. In painting, he has been creating large landscapes with forest, canyon, Italian, and American Southwest themes; smaller imaginative works; and mural designs.

He lives in Culver City, California where he and his partner are developing a concept for a complex that will include a gallery, café/salon, artists studios, and a store selling original crafts and gifts.
